Chained Soldier synopsis: After his high school graduation, Yuuki Wakura comes to the grim realization that five years have passed since his sister's unexplained disappearance during a cataclysmic event known as the "Mato disaster." Across Japan, mysterious gateways known as "Mato" have emerged, leading to a malevolent alternate dimension teeming with monstrous entities called the "Shuuki." These creatures pose a constant threat to humanity's safety. However, a glimmer of hope surfaces with the discovery of the Mato fruit, a unique source of supernatural abilities granted exclusively to women. This development led to the establishment of a new matriarchal government and the formation of the female-led Anti-Demon Corps, relegating men to a subordinate position in society. When Yuuki finds himself abruptly thrust into the perilous realm of Mato, escape becomes an impossible task. As he faces a gruesome fate at the hands of the Shuuki, a young woman in military attire appears, shielding him from danger. Kyouka Uzen, Chief of the Seventh Unit within the Anti-Demon Corps, is a determined but marginalized figure due to her peculiar powers. In this life-and-death situation, Kyouka seizes the opportunity to unlock the full potential of her extraordinary abilities, enlisting Yuuki's aid.
